If the kitchen is not bright, it must be opened to other rooms, as in this case, to the living room, in order to favor that natural light reaches all corners better. The successful distribution of A-shaped furniture enables maximum functionality and capacity in the minimum space. In the kitchen there are no visual obstacles thanks to the absence of handles and the choice of a ceiling hood model. The incorporation of wood in the shelf and the dining table brings warmth and breaks the chromatic duo in black and white.

The demolition of the partition that separated the kitchen from the living room made it possible for the room to be more spacious, light and bright. The natural light that enters through the living room windows and extends to the kitchen, is enhanced by the white functional furniture, which contrasts with the granite countertop in black finish. Clysa -distributor of the Santos firm in Barcelona- was in charge of the project of this kitchen in which there is an island with an attached office in the center of the plant.

The annexed living-dining room was integrated when the wall that separated both environments was demolished. Result: breadth, homogeneity and harmony.

Unifying element KRIS MOYA STUDIO

Next to the dining room, an original custom furniture with shelves and cabinets was installed. In the upper area a light was incorporated that enhances the restored ceiling, of Catalan vault. The shelf is from MB Concept.

Different environments KRIS MOYA STUDIO

The kitchen floor has been covered with an oak laminate, as in the rest of the house, with the exception of the work area, covered with retro-style ceramic tiles. In this way, each environment is well defined. Laminate flooring I think, from the Quick-Step firm. The porcelain flooring belongs to the collection Octagon Vodevil, from Vives Cerámica.

Storage and appliances. In parallel to the island there was a column cabinets front with space to store and integrate the ovens and the fridge. Opposite, a bookcase joins the kitchen with the living room.

Island + Office. In the center of the plant stands out an island that, in addition to working as a work and cooking area, incorporates multiple storage solutions on both sides.
The bell was placed on the ceiling. A dining table with four chairs completes the area.

Guas area. Arranged perpendicular to the island, it contains the sink, the integrated dishwasher, a module with interior shelves and another with drawers.
